Airport Tours

Tours may begin at 9am, and can run about an hour or more and include:

  • Bus tour of the airfield
  • Tour of a Fixed Base Operator (a building where private aircraft pick up and drop off passengers)
  • See the inside of an aircraft (if possible)

Tour Criteria
Offered to school/education, scouting and organizational groups of children (ages 6 and up) and adults with advanced reservations.

Maximum group size is 15 people.

Tours begin at the Airport Administration Office which is located at 1020 Plant Rd, Wheeling, IL 60090.
(Enter the building through the green canopy at the north side of the building. Plenty of free parking is available.)
